This is an excerpt that I imagine could take place in an early chapter of Cold Days or a short story after Ghost Story, in which Dresden comes face to face with Murphy for the first time since Ghost Story.

Harry is away in Mab's lair recovering, and Bob is alone in Harry's apartment. Things are quiet, until two of Fitz' friends wind up dead. Bob, Murphy, Molly, and Fitz scurry to find the killer and bring justice. But the perp has more power than they thought..........

Old friends have a talk in Edinburgh

When the world is changing, sometimes you have to cling to what remains still. Set after Ghost Story and before Cold Days. Murphy/Marcone, essentially Jossed after Cold Days, but I expected that.
