Harry and Murphy's first date doesn't exactly go as planned.

This is an excerpt that I imagine could take place in an early chapter of Cold Days or a short story after Ghost Story, in which Dresden comes face to face with Murphy for the first time since Ghost Story.

Harry really does have spectacularly bad timing.

A new year begins, and death comes out to play. Spoiler tags are insurance. I hope to introduce some characters and concepts the show skipped over later in the story. Takes place just about a month after Second City, which I'm going to assume takes place in December.

A story revolving around young Maggie as she grows up after Changes and the various interactions she has with her father, some written as flashbacks, others in the moment. Also included are Harry's interactions with other characters from the series.

One shot. Bob and Harry save the day once more.

In the town of Spartanburg, SC, Warden Allen Finch and his friend Michael have been having a bad couple of weeks.
So when local supernatural powers start grappling for power, things seem even grimmer. But with a few friends, a naturally snarky attitude, and a hell of a lot of luck, Allen might just survive this one.

This is actually a riff on somebody else's fic. A guy called LittleChicago has written a whole series of four excellent long fics, taking place after Turn Coat (Book 4, Broken Chains is still in progress.) There's a line near the end of Chapter 3 of the unfinished one that just wouldn't leave my head until I explained the conversation that came before it.
