Wow...I just barely found Dresden files and wow. I cannot believe this has not garnered any reviews in the last (insert) year(s).

very nice. i haven't read small favors yet so there are some spoilers. your battle scenes are rather cool and seems possible.

Author's Response: Yeah, he had to be just a little bit off to tell the reader (if not Harry) that John wasn't quite John.

Author's Response: I'm totally considering a sequel. There are so many problems and so many people who would be opposed to the Harry/Marcone relationship that it seems like a shame to waste the opportunity. And thank you! I'm thrilled that you love this story!

this is absolutely wonderful! i loved the story!!! would you ever consider a sequel? i'd love to see how others handle harry and johnny's relationship! seriously, this was a great read :)

I have a couple nitpicks; first, that the fake!marcone was so easily dismissed as molly's spell. it struck me weirdly throughout that he would just dismiss it as that- no double checking, no reaming out molly for messing with his head. that's her problem, isn't it?
secondly, now I want more. this is a terrible affliction, one which demands more about how others would react to harry&john. you tantalizingly brought it up, but did not resolve it.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm delighted that you liked it! I decided not to have him ream Molly out in this story because a) time was pressing (he had to leave that morning to find Amanda) and b) according to the Laws of Magic, she didn't mess with his head. She created a situation--a magical construct which would look like anyone he wanted to have sex with. Harry wasn't forced to have sex with the construct, and he wasn't enthralled into it; he just had a subconscious fantasy come to life...which forced him to face some facts about himself. That said, I'm utterly certain that he'd have a few words to say to Molly in the future when she found out. And I'm sure that would be an explosive discovery on Molly's part, given the events of Small Favor. rnAt the moment, I have other stories that are due--but I am considering a sequel. Or two. Because you KNOW that Frank Hendricks went home and had a long, disgruntled talk with Ms. Gard about the boss's latest flame. And I'm curious as to how Thomas would react to this as well.

Well, doggone it. I didn't want to like this one, but you forced me to it. Steady pacing, well defined plot, believable and interesting characterization. Thanks for an enjoyable read.
