Hi, I'm Kathleen, and I'm a Dresden Files addict.
(Hi, Kathleen.)
I write more fanfiction than is good for me, and have a particular fascination with Karrin Murphy. I also run a Dresden Files RPG called "Fool's Gold." Go forth and play.
Shoutouts to my wonderful lovely beta Priscellie and my bestest best friend evah Dark Puck. HAY U GUYZ!
Beta-reader: Yes

Everything comes to an end eventually. Harry/Murphy, in about 45 years.

And tears again. Bah. Poor Harry and Murphy. It's a wonderful ship, but....
This is a story about reading a book about reading a book, which turns into a different book. But it all ends happily!

That's adorable on so many levels. I said it once and I will say it again.
The courtship of Molly Carpenter and Carlos Ramirez, in fifty sentences wordprompt style.

40 still cracks me up. 10 I love for reasons I can't really articulate. And I really like the way you put these together; the ending sentences seem to finish them off really well.
(still virgins...technically! Virginstalking OTP!)
A quiet dinner isn't as easy as it looks. Round-robin.

Always amusing. Dropping shameless love on my coauthors.

Dropping a note to say I still find us hilarious.
And if that's wrong, I don't wanna be right.
Passion has two sides... Harry/Morgan. SLASH. Darkfic.

Every time I read this damn story I end up creeped out. Well done.
A young girl is in need of magical help, and Harry Dresden is out of town. It falls to Morgan to help her out, but not everything is as it seems.

I really enjoyed this story, both reading and betaing it, but you know that. So... LOVE.
Chapter 1: With One Stone
Harry's desire to protect has always been strong.
Updated: 09/22/2007; Published: 09/22/2007
That's so cute! I love the relationship between ickle!Harry and Bob. Incidentally, your header is there twice.
Chapter 1: A Rare and Precious Gift.
Harry's latest client is a man who is convinced he is being stalked by something he cannot see. As he works the case, Harry is haunted by dreams of a room where something is locked in the darkness.

Interesting! I like the plotline you've established. Good tension going in.
Harry does actually have a cat, who shows up in Storm Front and nowhere else. Bookverse his name is Mister. :D
Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Client
“Your client is being stalked by girl scouts,” Bob announced, his deep voice incongruous with the sweet faced child. HA!
Uh-oh. This chapter just got weird and scary. You've kept up and tightened the lines of tension beautifully. Your prose is a little bumpy in places, but nothing that impedes reading the story. Good job!
Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Ghoul
Great minds don't always think alike.
Updated: 09/22/2007; Published: 09/22/2007
That's great! I like the educational bits... dare I ask if you wrote this in class, or were studying Shakespeare when you did? I find that real life tends to creep into my stories too. Anyway. Really good!
One thing; your header's on there twice.
Chapter 1: Shall I Compare Thee, and All That Rot...
Michael reconciles his worry about Molly with his trust in Harry.
Updated: 09/23/2007; Published: 09/23/2007
I love your Michael! It's a great one-shot, and very character-appropriate. I would suggest a beta reader for a couple of rough grammar spots, and maybe a little more mention of God for Michael, but otherwise, excellent!
Morgan thinks about the past as he looks through Harry Dresden's activities as a Warden.

Nice. Some rough spots--eg arrive instead of alive--but very nice, and good on you for not demonizing Morgan. :D
Harry and Morgan interact, work together, and tolerate each other's presences.

I still love this. Especially 47. And 36. And 27.

Loved it then, still love it now. This is such a cute little piece, and I love the framework of the countdown. Well done.
Chapter 1: Counting the Days
Harry has managed to evade execution, survive a crazed warlock, a killer loup-garou, vampires, and just about anything else the Nevernever could fling at him. However, he has just found himself face to face with his worst enemy yet...the Flu.

I have to say I really enjoyed this, and I was quite sad you never finished the sequel. Encouragement, perhaps?
An AU ending for 'What About Bob?' Events at the morgue take a wrong turning....
Updated: 09/23/2007; Published: 09/23/2007
So sad. Poor everyone.
Some nice turns of phrase from you, in particular "She grieved in eerie silence." Well done.
Author's Response: Thank you.
A series of related oneshots featuring Harry Dresden, Connie Murphy and Anna Murphy and centering around the holidays.

These are also adorable. I don't know if I left this on the original ones, but I read them all in one go when I was sick, and I swear they helped me to get better. Brava.
Chapter 4: Happy New Year (Harry's POV)
When two neophyte Wardens go missing for several months in the jungles of Uganda, Morgan is tapped to retrieve them. Six months later, he re-emerges...

I still like this mostly because of the trauma. Does that make me a horrible person? Probably. Oh well.
Harry's latest case is uncomfortably familiar and starts him on another quixotic crusade. The only trouble is, how do you stop a killer when you're stuck baby-sitting?
Updated: 09/27/2007; Published: 09/24/2007
Aww! That is adorable! I can't believe I've never read it before. Lovely, sweet, very well-written, and many surprising funny bits.
So, tell me, does Winter Nights follow this one? Murphy did challenge Harry to a hockey match, I believe....
Author's Response: It does follow it. Featherjean gave me the prompt \'Harry/Murphy, snow\' and I had been toying with the idea since it\'d written it as a throwaway, so I decided to run with it. It stands on it\'s own however. Thanks very much for your review, I appreciate you taking the time to write it! :D

You too, Finn.
This one always makes me giggle. Especially the real bear and "Your Days Are Numbered, Apes."
25 short stories inspired by song prompts, all focusing on Harry/Murphy

These are all sweet and heartbreaking and adorable and guh. Damn you. Finish them already.
Author's Response: I can\'t figure out how, that\'s the trouble! D: Plus my computer has been wonky last few days so I\'m nervous about writing anything on it right now until I can get Dell to have a looksie at it \'cause its still under warranty.
Chapter 11: Lonely No More
Thomas observes the death of two characters.
