The White Council...the world's ruling body of wizards. For many years, they stood to guard the world from forces beyond mortal ken. But something changed.
In the year 1946, the White Council began setting forth to eradicate mortalkind. No-one is sure why it started...some say that they had grown weary of humanity's petty squabbles, others believe that perhaps they just went mad. Whatever the reason, humanity did not stand a chance. Forming an alliance with the Red Court of vampires and Queen Mab of the Unseelie, the Winter Fae, they were an unstoppable force. Within a year, their rule was absolute.
Today, the Magi's Alliance, as they are called, controls everything. From a base in the eastern United States, the White Council rules with an iron fist. Humankind is an endangered species. Those who were not destroyed were enslaved. It seemed that all hope was lost.
But one last chance remains...
Within the system, there existed an ever-growing number of people - wizard and mortal alike - who wake up every morning and say to themselves, "This is not the way the world should be."
And thus, a new war begins.
Working in secret, men and wizards the world over - with the aid of the White Court and the Summer Fae - work to undo all that has been created. They are the humanity's last chance. Fighting a secret campaign against the tyrranous rule of the Magi's Alliance, they will never stop as long as they continue to draw breath. The Alliance believe themselves to be invincible. If there was ever a time for them to be proven wrong, it is now.
