So for those of you who don't read my GreatestJournal, here's the sitch. My computer is completely borked up and is currently in the hospital for repairs, assuming they can repair it, which is very much up in the air at the moment. As a result, I will not be on IM until such time as I get my computer back or such time as I get back on the East Coast (November 21st). I will be checking my email and the various sites, but I can't promise when or where. I'm really very sorry about this, but it unfortunately cannot be helped.
Here's hoping Bob recovers soon.

On the note of my now six day absence from the internet, here I am over at a friends. Our satellite internet provider are being utter sods and have apparently cut off our damn internet for some stupid reason - mainly because the guy that installed it was an idiot, apparently.

Dunno when we'll be getting it back or for how long if we do. Hopefully we can get out of that damn contract without too much fuss if they screw us over some more and get a different provider or freaking dial-up since that'd be better than what we have now (and I'm being utterly serious. Faster internet, my ass).

Anyway, yeah, so, that's why I haven't been about for the past few days. Just thought I'd let ya'll know whilst I had the opportunity and I'll be back around whenever I'm able to.

In other words, it's Hell Week, my director owns my ass and I will not be on any earlier than 2 AM Eastern until...oh... about Saturday the 8th. Don't look for me before then.

i know this is really, really lamely short notice, but blame the SM i'll be working for. anywho, i'm doing a theatre production course, and we need 60 total hours work on either thesis shows or department shows. and i could get almost all of them done working on journey, so i'm gonna go ahead and do it.

here's the schedule:

Wed, 02/20 - TBA on Wed night, training session for using the pulleys
Thurs, 02/21 - 7pm - 11pm, working with pulleys with actors
Friday, 02/22 - 7pm - ?, tech
Saturday, 02/23 - all day, tech (from 4 to 7 hours, time TBA)
Sunday, 02/24 - similar to Saturday but currently TBA
Monday, 02/25 - 7pm - ?, open run-through at 8pm
Tuesday, 02/26 - 7pm - ?, open run-through at 8pm
Wed, 02/27 - 7pm - ?, open run-through at 8pm
Thursday 02/28 - performance at 8, call TBA
Friday 02/29 - performance at 8, call TBA
Saturday 03/01 - matinee performance & performance at 8, strike afterwards

saturday and sunday i should be back at a reasonable hour, but other than tha, eleven EST at the earliest, prolly. sorry for the lame short notice

In one week, I will no longer have internet in my apartment. This is an effort to cut costs as I am poor. Zuul has been awesome and will let me mooch of her internet when I go to hang out at her place so long as I pay for half her internet bill each month. Which is fine.

What this means is, I will not be online much. I may be online only for a few hours ever couple of days. Email will be the best way to get ahold of me, in all honesty.

Starting Friday, June 13th, the GM will be in Amsterdam and then Germany for ten days. She cannot promise to post. She will do her damndest. Hopefully the rest of you will as well.

I am a bad person and forgot to warn everyone I was leaving until just now. I am leaving town on Thursday the 8th, and returning on Tuesday the 19th. My internet access is limited, with a higher chance of access after Monday the 12th, and less of access after Friday 15th. Otakon, then vacation in Oregon (in hotels), then family visit.

On the bright side, since Roisin is already down, I won't be dragging back too much? Hopefully?

I too will be gone starting on the 8th (which is friday, so I assume she meant thursday the 7th which is when Otakon starts) and I will be returning on the 14th of august. I should have intermittent internet access, but I have no idea what my set up will be like in New Mexico until I get there. My hope is that I will be able to keep up, but if it becomes apparent that I can't Mark can always just take Roisin out as a convenient way to remove him temporarily as well.

i'm driving up to school on the 29th. i may or may not have internet that night, depending on the hotel me and dad stay at, and i have no idea how long it'll take me to get my internet set up at school. it took me a like a week last year.
