There I was, surrounded by Bulgarians. Every so often, I would catch the familiar strains of "Back in the USSR" or "Bungalow Bill" as we hovered around the plastic card table, dealing out cards for a new game. A mix of traditional Mexican, Bulgarian, and Barbeque cooking and a trip to the theatre to see Ocean's Eleven.

And so I spent my evening.
