Yes! Blog updates again! Go me! ::grooves:: I think it's because my FTP was going wonky, as both work now. But nevermind the cause, now I get to tell you all about what's been going on, that I haven't been able to blog about.
- Let me begin by saying that I just had the most relaxing, refreshing sleep in years. Mmm, sleep.
- Mon is wonderful. Her Angua is looking awesome (she told me that she wanted to draw a skirt, but she finds pants easier to draw. Ha! Take that, existential uncertainty!), and she said that after she gets more work on the Very Secret Project, she's going to try Carrot, Colon, and Nobby. I've created a monster. XD But it's a good monster, so yay. Meanwhile, comment in her newly-updated Elfwood gallery. Her Nimue watercolor defies description.
- My P.E. teacher kicked me in the shins and made me bleed. I love being able to say that. I'm taking a self-defense class in P.E. (not martial arts -- stuff you could actually use if you were assaulted), and I was partnered with one of the teachers. We were practicing a knee/upper-shin stomp, and she accidentally got my shin. Ordinarily, this could easily break knees, but I got the tail-end of the force, and instead I just got a nasty gash. Sure, it hurt, but it was so surprising that I didn't really feel it as much. My reaction was more "Oh, look! Blood!" and a laugh. I was amused.
- This makes me unbelieveably happy. I never even knew it existed! Thanks, Rebecca! Your Matrix icon rocks my rainbow toe-socks!
- I'm having my Penn alumnae interview this afternoon. The woman sounds really fun over the phone. Good stuff.
