The Cult of Lincoln

I'm so amused by this book I'm reading for my copyright class: "Twain started studying copyright laws during the 1870s when he lost substantial money to Canadian pirates."

Canadian pirates! Of course, they're talking about literary piracy, but still. *hums Arrogant Worms' "Last Saskatchewan Pirate"*

Though the author did imply that computer generated works are not artistic, which does not serve to endear him to me in the least. Arrr.
