Other than the whole Sandra Day O'Connor thing (which, admittedly is a pretty big "other than"), today was a good day. Daddy's birthday, as well as the kickoffs of lj-communities "Summer of Serenity" and the second-annual "Summer of Spike". Not to mention Canada Day!

Tomorrow, my parents and I are headed off to East Texas to spend the weekend at my mom's friend's house. T'will be keen! Lots of photographic opportunities and suchlike!

Meanwhile, just got back from Dad's birthday dinner and a showing of "March of the Penguins", which was utterly fascinating and so cute I could die. *squeals over the ikkle penguin babies*
