I just got an email from a former Photography teacher, informing me that the trip she was planning to Sierra Gorda in Mexico had fallen through. My mom and I and several other photographers were going to all go together. While disappointing, this does mean that I'll be spending my 21st birthday with my family, and keeping intact our perfect "entire family together for Thanksgiving and Christmas" record another year.
