Hiss! I so ardently dislike Orson Scott Card for his political opinions, but when he gives such extravagant praise for Serenity...
Well, guess what.

It's great.

I'm not going to say it's the best science fiction movie, ever.

Oh, wait. Yes I am.
And that's only the tip of the iceberg. He compares Serenity to Hamlet. His review is probably going to convince a lot of his readers to see the film. I'm grateful to him, and the two of his books I read I loved, but I still don't like him.

At least I can get behind this glowing review from Paul Ens, the director of Lucas Online at LucasFilm, who pimped the film at StarWars.com: If you're a fan of Star Wars, you really owe it to yourself to check out the Serenity movie. Unless, of course, you don't like adventure, excitement, laughter and fun.

Also, as of this morning, Serenity was kicking butt and taking names at the Yahoo!Movies "Top Rated of All Time", and the Firefly DVDs are up to #3 on Amazon.
