The Cult of Lincoln

Ooh! I forgot to mention that Ko and I saw Happy Feet the other day. Oh my gosh, I want five tiny penguins to follow me around and glorify themselves in outrageous accents. Robin Williams totally carried that movie. And I want the soundtrack. Go see it! Feel-good movie of the decade.

Also, my birthday gift from Renata arrived today! It's a plush Albert Einstein to match Renata's plush Lincoln and Keith's plush... some historical figure I can't remember at the moment. I fail at life. But Einstein wins, so it all balances out. YAY for the Sappy Lincoln Narratives Road Trip 2007!

i've heard other people say that they liked happy feet, except they were annoyed because they thought it was trying to stick in a political message? thoughts on that?

also, hooray, historical plush figures! (keith has davinci, btdubs.) wooo roadtrip!

Oh man, with our combination of Political,Scientific, and Artistic (and also kind of scientific) plush historical figures, there will be no stopping us.

Happy Feet blew my mind. When I saw that there were four writing credits I went, "Ooooh. THAT explains so much about this movie." Not that it wasn't a great time, mind, just a really trippy one.
