Due to creative differences, Joss is no longer attached to the Wonder Woman project. Suckage.
At least that gives him more time to work on Goners and Runaways and the Buffy season 8 comic and stuff, but... no, there's no way to positively spin this. It's just lame. After Serenity's lackluster box office performance, see if he ever gets tapped for a major motion picture again. Now how soon can the fandom get a hold of the script? I cheer myself slightly with the news that a helpline for distressed Potter fans is being set up, because two characters will be killed off in the final installment. Too funny! Okay, let's answer some comments! Rebecca: The Dresden Files has billboards? Sweet! Sara M: Since when is "not knowing each other" a barrier to sharing digital content online? XD Chungy: Bush/Sloth? This is why I love you. Keith: Re: "punching people in the face" as a tag, I'll do my best. :D Labels: comment responses, i heart fandom, joss whedon is my master now Priscilla said at 10:11 PM Comments:
I read about Joss not being attached to WW on IGN and was like, daaamn it. That was going to be awesome. But yeah, at least we'll have Buffy season 8. =/
i watched alien resurrection last weekend, which joss wrote. if he can bounce back from that, i'm sure he can come back from serenity ;)
of course you love me. i'm your bestest better half. anyway, the whole wonder woman thing is depressing; i'm imagining a bad retro homage to the 70s. and i'm not all that excited about hp. i'm beginning to think that rowling is really an alien.
Yup! Or, at least one of them. It's somewhere on La Brea, south of Hollywood. I'd have taken a photo, but I was driving.
