"It's like, 'Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.' I mean, every line is like that. He's the most ridiculous person who's so amazing at everything. I think a lot of actors tried to play that aspect. I just couldn't do that. And the more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that's how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself. Plus, he's a 108-year-old virgin so he's obviously got some issues there." -- Robert Pattinson
I love you so hard, Robert. Thanks to Britt for the link!

Britt is also gathering a group of people in Saskatoon to see Twilight while drunk. I have no interest in seeing this movie and I rarely ever drink and never to excess, but... oh my good lord, count me in for the inevitable New York spinoff!

Also, we will get all mockingly gothed-out. I shall wear my Molly costume. If you are in NY, you will join us! Come on, it's my birthday!

Oh, how I love to hate this franchise.

Um, I kind of want to marry Robert Pattinson solely for that comment.

The only problem with wearing mocking goth getups (glitter and all) is that the goth scene is already self-mocking. Lots of stuff is done with full irony intact. So it's sort of like trying to get something to stick to a non-stick surface.

That said, mocking the franchise? Right on, baby. :)
