An LJ meme is going around where you find the fifth sentence of your 23rd post. No idea where they got those numbers, but they make me feel nicely self-important, as 5/23 is my half-birthday. XD Because I only use my LJ as a sketchblog, I decided to do the same for my blog instead.
"We were all incredibly hyper and we had the most hilarious waiter with the most spectacular timing I've ever seen." The post is here, for those interested. Wow. Over 3 years ago. Time flies when you're blogging. Priscilla said at 5:45 PM Good lord. Virginia Passes "Marriage Affirmation Act" (further discussion of the law and full text in the comments). Why are people so... so evil? And isn't that unconstitutional? Aren't all states required to acknowledge marriages performed in other states?
Absolutely vile and disgusting. I'm appalled at the state of our government. Edit: Currently reading the text of the Bill. It reads like the most bigoted, obscene piece of trash I've ever encountered. Even my hallmate Lior, who is quite conservative and usually disagrees with most of my liberal philosophies, thinks this law is way below the belt. Guh. Priscilla said at 4:18 PM *cackles* Maybe Percy is evil! ChrisRankin.com posted new pics from Chris' latest theatrical exploit, Hedda Gabler, and while I know nothing about the play, is it just me, or does he look strangely like Smallville's Lionel Luther? Especially how it almost looks like he's reading Braille. (if anyone can remember the name of the episode where Lionel reads Braille, I would appreciate it. I am still but a fledgeling fan.)
Percy is God, Boba Fett, and Lex Luthor's daddy! Because, you know, fictional characters are indistinguishable from the actors who play them. XD Priscilla said at 1:44 PM

From AWN:
23. DONNIE DARKO RETURNS TO THEATERS WITH NEW F/X. Newmarket Films has announced that it will be releasing in theaters a new director's cut of sci-fi cult favorite DONNIE DARKO, reports VARIETY. The new version will include 21 minutes of footage not in the original release and beefed up visual effects. The new cut will debut May 29 at the Seattle Film Festival then roll out in theaters slowly starting in July. The original theatrical release in 2001 only grossed $517,375, but the film has found a cult following on DVD, grossing $10 million. So I'm excited. I'll refrain from passing judgement on the issue of "beefed up visual effects" until I see them. Mmm, Jake Gy-- gah, I don't think I'll ever be able to spell that boy's last name. You know he almost replaced Tobey McGuire in Spiderman 2 when Tobey was experiencing slight spine issues from all the horse riding in Seabiscuit? Yup. Mmm, unspellable last name-boy. Priscilla said at 9:39 PM Dean got 10% of the vote in yesterday's Pennsylvania Primary. I am one of 78,823 people. I think this merits a "w00t w00t" on behalf of our beloved Governor.
Ah, political nostalgia. Priscilla said at 9:12 PM Finished the last assignment for my Digital Design Foundations class! 3 images in Painter 6. My first real attempts at using the program since acquiring it what, two years ago?
Now, off to finish the extra credit assignment! I am such a loser! Hurrah! I think Bridget Jones has singlehandedly destroyed colloquial grammar. Priscilla said at 12:15 AM

Priscilla said at 11:58 PM Dear George Bush:
All these people will not be voting for you. --Priscilla Ko and Deep, two of my three Roommates: Of The Future!, got to go and took a bunch of pictures for me. However, I am a dork and forgot to lend them my extra memory card along with my camera, and the card I had in there was close to full already. Ah well. Here's my personal favourite. Ah, Ko, how I love your fabulous sense of humor. XD In other news, Trojan Women closed lovelyly, and I found my watch. Edit: Wow, I cannot spell my own name. Priscilla said at 11:39 AM

Whee! Everyone came tonight! My parents, Rachel, M, Shu Kee, Vadim, Tricia, Jeff... eee, happiness! *schnoogles them all* And M brought me flowers! And Dad sent me flowers a few days ago, but I was too harebrained to mention them! Oh, and the show was sold out, which is always awesome. My second-ever sold out show! Yay!
The show went quite well. Mum and Dad taped it (or at least, my performance) and got a few stills, which I'll have to post when my parents get home. After the show, M shared with my hallmates a 15-minute (at least) rant about various elements of theatre, which was highly entertaining. I am happy, clean, and slighly incoherent with post-performance delirium. Life is good and tomorrow is the March for Womens' Lives, which I will not be attending, but will be a part of in spirit. Ko is bringing my camera, so hopefully she shall return with lovely pictures. Everyone that's going: Have crazy fun! Be safe! Get me a t-shirt! Does anyone know if there will be any live video feeds of any of the event? Priscilla said at 11:23 PM Rock on, Kerry. More power to you!
And EEEEE more on the Potter front! Jen found some lovely new trailers for PoA featuring quite a bit we hadn't seen before. And dubbed in German! Hahaha, Harry has the voice of an 8-year-old girl. And I thought Evo!Kurt was hilarious... Anyway, that shot of Lupin opening his eyes? Wow. And when he jumps in front of the class? I imagined him suddenly bursting into "Spectacular, Spectacular!". Ah, DavidThewlis!Lupin. You will always remind me weirdly of The Duke. Priscilla said at 1:24 AM

Dear God,
There will be words. Love, Priscilla Ugh, I think we're all better off pretending tonight never happened. We had to stage the show in the Lower Egyptian Wing, in which we have only practiced once, the lighting is painfully wretched, and only maybe the first two rows in the audience can see anything due to a lack of tiers to put the seats on. I think we all did remarkably well given the circumstances, but ugh, we were garbage in comparison to how we are outside. But hey, what can you do? When life gives you lemons, you can only make an intolerably sour mess, because life didn't give you water or sugar. Well, come to think of it, life gave us a lot of water, and that's what our problem was, but yeah, the analogy is still sound. I can't stand lemon water. Anyway, hopefully the rain has exhausted itself and there won't be any weather issues when my parents come to see it tomorrow and Sunday. Hear that, God? Hint hint. Priscilla said at 10:21 PM These are so cool. Thank you, Alfonso!
Priscilla said at 5:49 PM Dear God,
Please wait until after 10:30 pm to have your Scattered Thunderstorms. As Trojan Women is an outside production and our emergency inside venue is horrid, we would appreciate it if you either got it over with quickly now when we still have 3 hours to curtain or waited until after the show was over. Thank you, Priscilla Priscilla said at 4:30 PM And classes are over for my college Freshman year. That is so weird. After exams, I'll be 1/4 of my way through college.

More on the bill here. [string of unprintable words] Priscilla said at 11:06 PM WHOO. Trojan Women? SO GOOD! Gah, the entire cast just kicked mountains of bootie. We made Ko, my future roommate, cry four times. I'm thrilled about performing again the next few nights. Huzzah and w00t!
Schlien and Allison, will you be able to make it? I haven't heard from you in aaaaaaaages! Priscilla said at 10:33 PM AHA! Insanely tall kid, I found you! You could not hide for long!
Near the beginning of the school year, I saw an insanely tall guy in the dining hall. Curious, I walked up to him (very inobstusively) and eyeballed our relative heights. I'm 5'9" and the top of my head was level with his armpit. And then there he was again, at the station next to the Trojan Women station on Locust Walk, trying to raise money for MS! How lucky way I, to choose this walk shift? I was subtle and cunning and took his picture to show the world his freaky tallness. Ever the fangirlish dork, I asked him what year he was in and if he ever did theatre, to see if he would still be around in two or three years when I finally finish "Men at Arms." Unfortunately, he was a Senior. Oh well. Maybe he has a brother. So here is The Man That Would Be Carrot. Alas and woe. Priscilla said at 5:57 PM What the... this is not cool!

Mmm, quasi-freedom. No rehearsal tonight! I managed to churn out 7 pages of Film Noir last night for our peer review today, and I actually feel pretty good about it. M seems to have liked it, and she's a writing goddess, so I guess that's good. Rehearsals have been insane, and I'm very weirded out that tomorrow (er, rather, tonight) is opening night. Guh. I went to dinner with a bunch of my Trojan Women friends and we totally geeked out and had a blast.
Still waffling over whether or not I should go to the March For Women's Lives on Sunday. I really want to go, but I'm afraid of missing the train back to Philly and not getting back in time for Sunday's performance. Evil schedule demons. Now, sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to get on a more active blog post schedule. Apologies for incoherency, it's been a trying week. Priscilla said at 11:27 PM Great. Well, luckily hyel and co. decided to write it for us."
Hahahhahaha. So yeah, just got back from my 14 Hours O' Trojan Women. Guh. I am past the point of exhaustion and out the other side. Priscilla said at 10:28 PM More on the Spamalot front! (whee for dinner breaks!)

Ah, where would we be without our fandom underdogs? *waves "Percy is Not Evil" banner, declares self "Pervy Filtrum Fancier", and wow, I'm suddenly exhausted. I think I'll take a nap. *falls unconscious, returning an hour later to post this, still bleary* Meanwhile: ladies, is anyone still using espressoferrets.com? Because if not, I think we should get rid of it. Wow, I'm tired. Today is such a beautiful day, but I have to be inside and in the library, looking up stuff for my film noir paper. And I can't find anything in the library catalog, so I'm probably going to have to change my topic. Good thing I don't have anything written yet. 1AM: It occurs to me that "Bass and Rankin" (the names of the directors of the dorky animated musical RotK) sounds like the name of a bait shop. 1:30: Stupid Microsoft Word Spell Check, "nuanced" is too a word! 2AM: Tolkien, you wuss! You give a name to every rock in Middle Earth and you don't have any better name for the Ringwraiths' winged mounts than "fell beasts"? 2:30: What the... birds? It's the DEAD OF NIGHT. STEPHEN COLBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! I can't believe I forgot flash!!!! but AUTOGRAPHS, TOO!!! And I GOT TO GIVE HIM A HUG!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! It's probably best described in proper fangirl fashion, so here's my conversation with Rachel B from immediately afterwards. Me: STEPHEN COLBERT!!!!!!!!!!! Rachel: Oh ;-) How was it? Me: http://www.theninemuses.net/pics/stephencolbertotp.jpg Me: I can't believe I forgot flash Me: HE IS SO GREAT AND WONDERFUL AND HE GIVES GOOD HUGS AND HIS AUTOGRAPH IS LUVVERLY Rachel: *laughs* Rachel: "otp"? Me: One True Pairing Me: <3 Rachel: *giggles* Me: And I told him the Jews of Wash U think "This Week in God" is brilliant, as per your request. Rachel: Was he funny? Rachel: *dies!* Thanks! What'd he say?? Me: he said "Ah, the Jews." And was generally delightful. I was too busy thinking STEPHENCOLBERTOMGSTEPHENCOLBERTISGIVINGMEHISAUTOGRAPH ANDOHDOYOUTHINKHEWOULDLETMEGIVEHIMAHUG? to actually remember what he said. Rachel: *grins* I can tell. I'm glad you got a hug Me: yay! Me: autograph: http://www.theninemuses.net/pics/stephencolbert2.jpg Rachel: *laughs* Rachel: So I'm guessing you missed Smallville ;-) Me: At one point, he asked for volunteers from the audience, and without thinking, I raised my hand. After picking two others, he picked me! I was so thrilled that it wasn't until I got onstage that I realized that the other two were obvious plants, and I had no script! Rachel: *giggles* Oh dear. What was it all for? What happened? Me: I was the definition of "not funny". Rachel: Mope? What'd he do to you!! Me: but it was okay, because I got to shake his hand, and it gave me an excuse to go after him after the show for his autograph and the hug etc. and apologize for not being funny. XD Rachel: I see :-) Rachel: Lucky Scilla :-) Me: He tried to make me funny, and we both failed. I just wasn't funny at all, though I tried to come up with funny things. Improv just can't compare with scripting. Me: bad improv, mind you. I have no skill for improv. Deer in headlights. Rachel: Ha! You? Rachel: You have no concept of fear. Me: yup. believe it or not. I can't be funny on command, especially in the presence of comedy gods. Me: I wasn't afraid, I just wasn't funny. Rachel: Oh well. I think you're funny :-) Me: and yes, I missed Smallville. Rachel: Except when you're violating my sweetie bear. Me: *laughs* PriscillaofDomm: mmmm, Clark! I spent the entire rest of the show wondering if there was supposed to be a third plant, and how he could have confused me for one of them, if he had, as Mask and Wig is all-male. He told me afterwards that I look exactly like one of his friends from High School, so that might have been the reason. XD I'll post photos from the show tomorrow. Now, I must finish my LotR paper! Onwards! *zooms* .. .. STEPHENCOLBERT!!!!!!! Priscilla said at 9:59 PM

This just in: Nick and Mary Yankovic found dead from smoke inhalation.
Ugh, poor Al... that's so sad. Priscilla said at 10:21 PM Wow. You don't truly appreciate a movie's editing until you're assigned to watch a scene at 1/4 speed, painstakingly counting the number of cuts. Craziness. I'm glad the scene I chose was only a minute long. Well, the Rankin/Bass scene was 2 minutes and four seconds, but that was easy to count.
In case anyone cares, editing speed for Eowyn's confrontation with the Witch King (or in the Rankin/Bass version, Malibu Barbie vs. The Knights of Ni): Rankin/Bass: 1 cut/3.1 sec (40 cuts in 124 seconds) Jackson, 1st half: 1 cut/1.05 sec (36 cuts in 38 seconds) Jackson, 2nd half: 1 cut/1.8 sec (15 cuts in 27 seconds) Jackson, overall: 1 cut/1.27 sec (51 cuts in 65 seconds) Mmm, break time! Priscilla said at 10:20 PM Something fun: explaining the backstory of Eowyn vs. the Witch King in a few short sentences.
Priscilla said at 4:12 PM Woah. I don't think I ever realized before what an awesome word "both" is.
*gets back to work, which is probably more like play, as its analyzing the 1980 and 2003 versions of RotK, but is still work nonetheless* Oh -- you know how I was saying that the 1980 animated version of RotK is the scariest thing I have ever seen in my 19 short years on this earth? Here are some screencaps. Share the fear! Priscilla said at 1:18 PM It's that time again! Film Noir Class quotes!
"The appeal for Matrix is in great special effects and... great leather costumes..." --Chris "Rufus Sewell. He's not really let's see Rufus!" --Chris, regarding the popularity of Dark City versus The Matrix "Cool people deserve to live. Other people... don't matter much." --Chris on the moral of The Matrix "Why were there so many rhetorical questions?" --Chris "What does the word 'maudlin' mean? Like 'I'm maudlin these clothes'?" --Arjun "I can't say I know much about the history of the zither." --Chris Me: He was the singing voice of Jack in "The Nightmare Before Christmas"! Chris: Thank God we got back to Tim Burton. --regarding Danny Elfman "I remember back in Catholic school--I try not to remember back in Catholic school--on the playground, we would act out the bearing of the Cross. We would get one self-important kid who would volunteer to be Jesus, and the rest of us would beat the crap out of him." --Chris Me: (incredulous) You mean... there are movies based on books that don't accurately portray the source material? Ian: That would be a great segue to "Lord of the Rings"! Arjun: I love how we don't even talk about Lord of the Rings anymore, we just talk about talking about it. --regarding "Kiss Me Deadly" Me: It's a film class! What were you expecting? Chris: It's not an Oscar class! Oscar has nothing to do with film! --post-oscar excitement Arjun: Did erotic dancers really dance like that in the 20's? Chris: I'm not going to pretend to be an authority on the history of erotic dancing. --giggling about "Night of the Hunter" and reflecting back on "Metropolis" All of Malibu would be wiped out! *wipes away imaginary tear* --Chris, "Kiss Me Deadly" "She's not a prostitute! She's woobait!" --Me, "Kiss Me Deadly" "Oh, screw The Matrix." --Chris, "Dark City" "The first time I saw Zoolander, I didn't really like it, but the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh times, I really liked it." --Arjun "I think it will take decades to truly appreciate Dude Where's My Car... all the subtle nuances." --Chris Priscilla said at 2:54 AM Okay, I win! I just watched "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace" last night, in which a kid, worried about the potential of nuclear war with the Soviet Union, writes a letter to Superman and asks him to destroy all the world's nuclear weapons. After a bit of pondering over the issue and generally not listening to the Kryptonian elders, he gathers all the nuclear weapons in a giant space-net and hurls them into the sun.
The world could use a Superman now. No, instead we get Dr. Strangelove. Priscilla said at 5:30 PM Anyone not listening to Air America Radio really needs to.
The sad thing is that the people that most need to hear this stuff are the people that are least likely to. Priscilla said at 3:20 PM Kerry is on the O'Franken Factor and I have to go to class. Thank gravy for repeats! Five minutes of listening to him talk and I already feel better about him.
Priscilla said at 12:57 PM GAH RENATA IS FAR TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS!!!!!!!!! Clicksee! The second half of her post!
It kind of makes me want to get "What's in a Name" published. Maybe I'll look into that again. Eventually. In the meantime, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE RENATA IS AWESOME! And as for Wicked, I would have gladly typed up the summary of the plot in the little booklet that came with the CD, except that there is no plot summary. Stupid. Read the book, I guess, or see the musical? It stars Idina Menzel, of RENT fame, and Kristin Chenoweth, of... um... the ABC version of The Music Man. And Joel Grey as the wizard! (Does that mean what in the revival in 30 years, it'll be played by Alan Cumming?) So yeah. Renata is cool! Priscilla said at 12:30 AM Bush always said that he was a uniter.

Is it just me, or is Harry's hair significantly more unruly in these images than it was in the first two movies? Little things, but ever so meaningful to the fans! Now if you could be so kind as to find Percy some glasses, we would be much obliged.
(But whatever happened to absolutelyhideous!Crookshanks? In the trailer... man, that cat was UGLY! Deliciously ugly! Here, he could be construed as cute by some! What's up with that?) Heehee, that reminds me. When I was doing the DMD Drexel Interview Thing, I brought with me my Sandman project images and my big Magsby!Remus VSP collab. Being thorough interviewers, the Drexel kids asked me who the people in the images were supposed to be. There just isn't a way to say that you collaborate with friends to make calendars of Harry Potter fanart that doesn't make one sound like a complete and utter dork. :D Oh! And ladies! Is VSP2005 still on? Mags, are you going to have time this summer to work on anything? Mon, how long will you be working on that children's book? Aliceboo, what about you? I know we promised that we'd get started earlier this year, so that we wouldn't have a time crunch, but starting earlier requires actually starting earlier. XD Priscilla said at 6:40 PM YESSSSSSSSS!!! Billy and Dom are partnered together again for the RotK:EE commentary! Oy.
I've taken to rubbing Listerine into my scalp before taking a shower, as it's reported to be a smashing dandruff cure for Those Who Have Tried Everything Else. Listerine, then shampoo, then conditioner. But tonight I forgot the Listerine until I had already massaged the shampoo halfway in, so I decided I would do shampoo, Listerine, conditioner. Bad idea. My hair now smells strongly of Listerine Citrus. Hair should not smell strongly of Listerine Citrus. I have learned my lesson. Priscilla said at 10:33 PM Priscilla said at 10:06 PM I really, really, really hate the world sometimes. How could I have made that mistake? I distinctly remember the Theatre Arts website saying that Trojan Women would be April 12-15, but now every single Penn website is saying that it's April 22-25. *series of expletives*
April 25th! The March on Washington! I've been wanting to go ever since I heard about it months ago. Everything was arranged! Tickets, hotel stuff, everything! For both events! My parents now have plane tickets to Philly for the wrong weekend! Life is NOT COOL and NOT FAIR and I got totally RIPPED OFF by the framer this afternoon but don't have time to shop around for a better deal. EDIT: But wait! Trojan Women is on each night at 8:30-10:30! Would I be able to go to DC for the day, then return in time for the show? Would I stand the chance of getting stuck in Washington? Would that be a really bad idea? How long is the train ride, what's the schedule, and what time is our call? Wah. *kicks stuff* Priscilla said at 3:30 PM Light Cyan is now my sworn enemy. Just thought you'd like to know. Also my sworn enemy is whatever posessed me to wait until Sunday night to print all my stuff for the art show tomorrow. Still working on it now, and I'm going to have to skip two classes (one a lecture and one an optional lab, but still, I hate having to miss any class at all) in order to get my stuff to the frame shop on time. Curse you, art professor, for falsely leading me to believe we just had to have them dry-mounted! *shakes fist*
On the plus side, I'm printing in Meyerson as opposed to Adams, due to my feud with the Light Cyan (I will destroy you, and your heirs!), and the image quality coming out of the plotters here is absolutely unbelieveably gorgeous and I want to have ten thousand of this plotter's babies. And it's just $1.25 per square foot here, whereas at Adams it's $1.50 per square foot! Teh w00t! Priscilla said at 10:58 AM

Oh, I forgot to mention!
I got to hang out with Dom and Billy in rehearsal today! That is, stage manager Billy Rosen and "Government Agent" actor Dominic "Dom" Romeo. Ever since learning Dom's name, I can't stop giggling whenever I see them together. Oh, and we're using the first track from Viggo's "Pandemonium from America" for my entrance. Life is good. Life is very good. And also totally geeky. Priscilla said at 11:11 PM Today is 04/04/04! Thanks to Rebecca for pointing it out!

So who else is going? I'm going with my mom, so I don't have to worry about staying in a group. I'd love to hook up with anyone else that's going to be there! To quote Renata, "hopefully lunch or something! and then, sticking it to the man! rar."
Teh w00t. And now, a meme: (Ganked from Samlet) 1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says: Greek and Roman temples, into which (entry for Ad'ytum in Brewer's "The Dictionary of Phrase and Fable" 2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first? My Wacom tablet, on top of my printer. 3: What is the last thing you watched on TV? The last thing I saw on TV TV was the Oscars, but the last TV program I saw was the Smallville episode "Obsession" (3x14), yesterday. 4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is: 9:45. 5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time? HOLY COW, my watch says 9:46! *is freaked* 6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? The wind outside 7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing? I went to Houston Hall in search of dinner (it was closed), so I picked up "Superman I" at the video rental and grabbed dinner at Moravian. 8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at? My friends list, where I found this meme. 9: What are you wearing? Black long-sleeved t-shirt and my favourite jeans. No socks. 10: Did you dream last night? Yes, but I don't remember it now. I remember remembering it when I woke up a couple times during the night. Er, the morning. At 9:30. 11: When did you last laugh? Just now, watching Superman. Too funny by half. 12: What is on the walls of the room you are in? Posters for Moulin Rouge, Amelie, FotR, and Discworld: Family Values, my Jesuit theatre posters, birthday gift art from Alicey, Mags, Friede, Alicey again, Jia, Jia again, and Megs' "sexy hobbits", my class schedule, a bunch of photos of my friends, a bunch of Ann Taintor "I think I feel a sin coming on" postcards, prints of some of my photographs and CGs (Nightcrawler, "Empire Burning", the "Chicago" FA April Fools' image, and the Magsby Remus collab), my "Fangirls for Dean" sign, and my Nightcrawler rosary. 13: Seen anything weird lately? Not that I can think of. 14: What is the last film you saw? The last movie I saw was Superman, but the last film I saw was "Dark City", which is absolutely fantabulous and I would recommend it to anyone. 16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first? The LotR:EE DVDs. All the little things. Big stuff takes time. :D 17: Tell me something about you that I don't know: Ellie Rosenthal isn't dead! I resuscitated her name again to represent me in a "name changed to hide the identity of the interviewee" study on Women in Computer Science. XD 18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do? Dean in the White House. Do you even have to ask? 19: Do you like to dance? When no one's looking. :D 20: George Bush: is he really doing Dick Cheney? *snorks* No. Though they're certainly in bed together metaphorically. 21a: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?: I don't even want to think about it. 21b: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?: See 21a. 22: Would you ever consider living abroad?: Only somewhere where they speak English with fast, reliable internet service. Priscilla said at 9:11 PM *squeaks* Fiction Alley is so awesome. *hearts Heidi or whoever wrote the bios* I just now noticed the Artist Page for the April Fool's Day gag. Hah, I almost forgot Trump was a Penn grad! Oh, Wharton, the mockery will never cease.
Priscilla said at 4:08 PM Tuesday is the deadline for submissions to a student work art show. We're allowed up to three submissions. Does anyone have any opinions regarding what I should submit? I'm currently leaning towards Destruction, Death, and Desire, but I'm open to any suggestions.
See my LJ post on the subject for a full list of other things I'm considering considering. Thoughts? Priscilla said at 2:47 PM *giggles uncontrollably* Even Aragorn parodies are Howard Dean! I'm reading Bored of the Rings to break up The Silmarillion, and to my great amusement, our idiotic future king Arrowroot had the following to sing:
"Against the True King Sorhed's workin'Thank you, Harvard Lampoon, for making my 1AM. Oh, and Rachel (friend-from-school Rachel B, not Roommate Rachel) has gotten me hooked on Smallville, and vows to get me addicted to Buffy and Angel this summer. I'd be afraid if she didn't have such good taste! Mmm, Clark sho pretty... Priscilla said at 12:17 AM

I hope everyone had a great April Fool's Day! And let it be known that anyone that actually believed I would vote for Nader is a total goofball and a worthy subject of my mockery and scorn. *points and laughs* I don't think I could ever talk about voting for Nader and wanting to get rid of Bush in the same sentence. Except just now, where I just did.
XD Priscilla said at 10:13 PM Kait: Certainly! Just slap on a byline or something so people know it's mine. Best of luck with the assignment! I'm curious as to what you come up with!
Rebecca: Maybe I can convince Mon next April Fools Day, or the April Fools Day after the sequel comes out. Or maybe just in a few months when she finished her job. I don't want to impose! XD She's going to be a busy girl, and we totally expect cookies. And I hope everyone remembered/knew about National Embarrassed By My President Day! *dons "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" shirt and makes a brown ribbon out of an envelope and colored pencils* Priscilla said at 1:47 PM The whole Useless Caucus thing has got me thinking. The political situation in America is getting me more and more depressed. No matter how I try, I just can't find myself getting excited about John Kerry. That is why I have decided to pledge my support for Ralph Nader. There are a lot of people angry at him, but the 2000 election was hardly his fault. People discount him far too early. People say that a third party has no chance of being elected, but I seem to remember in my government class that the first time the newly-founded Republican third party ran a candidate, he was elected.
Nader has a lot of great ideas, some of them rather similar to Dean's. He advocates universal health care and the restoration of the government to the people's hands, rather than special interests. He favors a fairer tax bracket system, opposes media bias and media concentration, and wants a to restore a family farm-consumer agriculture policy. He understands the necessity to create more jobs and the workers' needs for an employee bill of rights. He opposed the invasion and occupation of Iraq, and supports equal rights for same-sex couples. You can read more about his policies here. I have great faith in the American people that they will see through Bush's treachery and elect the man who can bring real change to America, Ralph Nader.
