Founded in 2002 by a bunch of high school students with too much free time, RMU became a haven for thousands of antisocials that wanted to attain important-sounding degrees and graduate college without ever really trying.
Their arts and theatre program is one of the best in the nation, the most notable aspect being the beloved Professor Cregan, who produces a yearly production of the popular musical "RENT". Taking Professor Cregan's example, this fine insitution attracted many influential actors to its staff including Professor Rapp, Professor Poulos, Professor Pascal, and Professor Hunt.
The English curriculum is optional, but remains a highly popular area for course work at RMU. Course books include Les Miserables, taught by Professor Marius; Harry Potter, taught by Professors Lupin and Black; and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, taught by Professor Beeblebrox. Additional electives include courses in the fanfiction of Harry Potter, Rent, and Minesweeper.
The Foreign Language program is another favourite aspect of the school. Courses available include Japanese, British, Piglatin, HTML, Redneck, and Esperanto. 75% of students take courses in Japanese, mainly because the class consists of reading manga and watching and discussing anime. The students all seem to love Professors Maxwell and Winner, who teach this popular class.
History classes are taught by hands-on examination of the times by means of a time-travel device, invented in 2001, 2000, then again in 1874. This class is taught by Professor McFly.
Science classes, taught by Professor Nye, include construction of CO2 bombs and catapults; not to mention the genetic engineering course taught by Professor Boshiboshi. The lab policy is "if it's not dangerous, it's not worth doing". When left with nothing do do, classes will often engage in dry ice hockey.
Our division 1 sports are also highly competitive. RMU remains the top school ranked in the nation for its infamous Full-contact badmittion team. Rumor has it that a Quidditch league will be forming this fall.
With this in mind, how could you consider any other school?
