Let it be known that Good Omens is the most hilarious book in existance. I can’t go two paragraphs without laughing my head off out loud. I get lots of weird looks because of this. Especially when I get to explain what it’s about. ::snickers:: Read, read, read. Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett are gods (but we already knew that, didn’t we?).

I’m spending the night with my aunt and uncle! Yay! I’ll probably recount all my groovy stories tomorrow. To keep you amused in the meantime:

Men at Arms: the Musical! In crayon. I’m incredibly proud of this, because it was my first real piece of art in crayon and the second thing I was actually proud of that wasn’t in CG (the first being that colored pencil picture of Harry, Ginny, and Fawkes in the Chamber of Secrets) Sure, I messed up a lot, but I still love it.

Kell is 22! Happy Birthday! Yay! I can’t draw! You should see the other junk on the page with Indy. Actually, no. You shouldn’t.

Go Rebecca! High five, fellow GIR!

Thanks for the art-preservation tips, everyone! It seems the verdict is hairspray. ::grins::

Why the heck are the Sundowner characters so bloody impossible to draw?!? ::flails at erasermarked page of failed sketches:: (this should have been posted last night, but Blogger was being evil)

::flails a great deal:: Can you guys just please STOP having birthdays for one second! Ye Gods, I have enough cards to make! Kell on the 20th, Rebecca on the 23rd, and Tanja’s 1/2 birthday on the 25th. ::frowls at birthday girls and goes off to draw::

I finished “The Fifth Elephant” last night, which was utterly fabulous. However, this has left me feeling in a bit of a slump. I’ve read all the Watch books. Well, I suppose there’s always “The Truth”, but the Watch play only minor characters. Sadness. I guess I could reread the lot of them…

The must frustrating thing about my sketchbook is the smeariness. After a sketch has been in the book for about a week or two, the graphite starts getting everywhere. Does anyone have a cure that doesn’t involve inking?

Rehearsals, dinner, shower, homework, power-reading. I don’t have much time or content for a coherent blog entry. So sue me. ::mischievously pokes readers with a stick::
