Mmmm. Sleep. Thank Percy for Daylight Savings Time for the Jets Night Out on Saturday! Woah, that’s a lot of capital letters. ::stares::

Let it be known that I have absolutely no self-restraint whatsoever. That shiny “buy now” button is just way too enticing. ::climbs into her mailbox and waits gleefully::

Score! Blogger works at school now! ::does a groovy dance::

::hand itches toward the shiny “buy now” button on Amazon’s listing for “The Last Hero”::

::flails::

It has Cohen! And Rincewind! And Carrot! And many joyous happy people! And it’s illustrated by Paul Kidby, God of Discworld art! And it’s 30% off on Amazon! ::whines pitifully::

::dies::

Just one month until my birthday! Yay! ::cheers happily, then winces in Tanja’s direction and flails a bit::

I’ll post the daily sketch tomorrow evening, as opposed to the morning. I’m sleepy. And Tanja, I’ll be looking for suitable pictures. ::salutes:: I’ll hopefully find something tomorrow night.

::snickers:: Sannali‘s additions to Men at Arms: The Musical were absolutely brilliant. (and she had better post her Angua sketches, or I’ll be disappointed). Now it’s time for even more songs! I rather like the idea of having the Patrician come out in the beginning to explain how the city works, possibly to the tune of “Tradition” from Fiddler on the Roof, or “Guilds!”, to the tune of “Kids Today” from “Bye Bye Birdie”. We may be able to bring Edward d’Eath out for a Lion King-inspired number, “I just can’t wait for Carrot to be King”. And I’m sure we could find a suitable song for Angua to sing about “minority” groups. At his death, Beano could sing a heartrending rendition of “Send in the Clowns”. Maybe a duet with Death. And Leonnard of Quirm most definitely needs a song… Okay, I’m starting to scare myself. Time to step away from the stereo! ::wrinkes nose at overactive muses::

Woo! Today’s date is all froody and palindromic! ::stares at calendar::

I absolutely adore this image. It’s a self-portrait I took last year, using a pinhole camera. I had to stay absolutely stock-still for 5 minutes. I love my pinholes! ::hugs:: I’ve got to try some new ones this year. I have so many fabulous boxes to test!

Sketchblog, without fail. I think that on most school nights, I’ll update the night before, so I don’t have to worry about posting in the morning.
