::laughs:: One of the most amusing things about Elfwood is getting nasty comments. I love it. Today, I got comments from the infinitely mature metcalfjoe@hotmail.com, which read “u guys SUCK!”, “jj”, and “Thats a really good drawing of Ron, who did it?”. I would have laughed my head off if the rest of my family wasn’t asleep.

Another amusing thing: I just had a dream where I was taking to the Fourcast staff, and I told them that the major deciding factor on whether or not I read an article is based on whether they mention the Beatles or not. Then my friends and I decided to start stalking people in their houses if they had a cute accent.

Happy Holidays, everyone! I’ll be finishing up the Sannali collaboration soon, then I’ll start working on my Christmas card. Sure, it’ll be a little late, but it’ll be worth it!

::laughs crazily:: I just made the connection! I occasionally get really silly Elfwood comments from people who think they’re being serious. One of my favourites was Brittany Ford, who practically posted an essay about how much she hated Wormtail. I just realized that this is Britt of the Professional Dork Mafia, Ron’s Girl on WOFS! ::giggles:: Oh, that made my day. I love you, Britt!

Let’s have a poll, shall we? Do you, my faithful readers, have trouble keeping up with all the people/places/inanimate objects/etc. in my life? Should I make a “Priscilla’s Life Glossary” to go along with this weblog? I think it would make life a great deal simpler. What do you think? Comment, you insane lemmings.

Guess what? It finally happened. ::pokes Renata:: Check it out here. Comment or email me if you have any suggestions.

Hurrah! Two joyous packages the mail brings! One contains a positively groovin’ music mix from Renata, bearing all sorts of highly entertaining holiday favourites such as “I wanna be Christ” by Stuart Davis, “The Night Santa Went Crazy” by Weird Al, and Space Ghost’s “Twelve Days of Christmas”. I can’t wait to listen to it all! It also contained a great deal of candy. The other joyous package contained a DVD of “Spaceballs” (unopened) purchased on eBay, plus a hardback “Men at Arms” which was so inexpensive that I couldn’t resist (and still in perfect condition). Same guy, so there was no extra shipping cost. I figure that if I have several copies of Harry Potter in case someone wants to borrow them, I might as well get spare copies of my other most frequently lent books, especially when they’re sold dirt cheap. Muaha!

I’m getting my friend Nancy hooked on the series, as well. She’s lending me “Star by Star”, the most recent NJO Star Wars book, and I’m lending her “Guards! Guards!”. Which reminds me! I finally found a copy of the G!G! graphic novel on Amazon UK for 8L (about $12, which is fairly good for a huge graphic novel like this), which is quite an improvement over the absolutely ridiculous $50-60 offered in the Amazon US shops. Now I just have to see if I can find a cheaper copy at Half Price Books. Fellow RMLer Sean found the Mort graphic novel at a Half Price Books, so I’m hoping they might be offering “Guards! Guards!” as well. ::skips about merrily::

Meanwhile, I’m virtually finished with Chungy’s scarf. I just have to figure out how to bind off the end, knowledge which is easily gleanable online (doesn’t coining words just make your day?). Now I’m working on a slightly smaller one for my “aunt” Nancy, my mom’s best friend. If I have time, I want to do one for Mrs. Felice, as well. My own Markscarf has been put on the backburner for quite a while.

So, in short, schnoogles abound to Renata, for being groovy; Thomas Pendergast, for shipping so quickly; Nancy, for being malleable; Other Nancy, for being the most wonderful woman in the world; Sean, for being informative; Mrs. Felice, for putting up with me; and Chungy, for being my best friend. Not to mention everyone reading this, for tolerating my ridiculous blog obsession. Happy Holidays to the lot of you!

Yowza! I haven’t posted in my sketchblog for nearly a week! I need to get on the ball. I’ll scan some of my recent stuff later today, hopefully.

Arg. I love hanging out with Iana, but I feel like I can’t get anything done, because I feel like I need to be constantly keeping her entertained. Now I won’t get done half the web design stuff I wanted to. Plus, I have no idea when I’ll be able to finish the Sannali collaboration, which is already rediculously late. Sannali — next time you want to collaborate, give me a deadline! I can’t work without deadlines. Otherwise I keep putting it off for things that *do* have deadlines. Gah, I’m sorry. I *will* have it done! And within the next 3 days, too!

In the meantime, hope for Monica’s safety. Nasty political upheavals in Argentina, to say the very least. ::hugs Monica::

Did anyone notice that the guy who plays Elrond in Lord of the Rings also played Agent Smith in The Matrix? I kept cracking up during that scene for that reason. I got dirty looks.

Meanwhile, when I went to Ocean’s Eleven this evening, I saw two girls dressed up in this fabulous medieval/elvish garb. I complimented them. They seemed very relieved that I knew they were going to see LotR, as opposed to just being a pair of delusional nutcases. Yay. So it’s all good.
