Exams are over! ::grooves:: Now I have time to do stuff. I think I did better on my history exam than I thought I’d do, so that’s always good. Plus, Mrs. Johnson is a really nice grader when it comes to essays, and our two essays made up 40% of the test. Muaha. Then I badgered Mr. Taylor into telling me my grade, as his test was entirely on scantron, and I got a B+. Go me. ::rejoices and goes off to draw::
After exams, we decided to celebrate Cherise’s birthday over lunch at Cafe Istanbul. Afterwards, Marcelina and I went over to Bookstop to get 2002 calendars. I was instantly drawn to a Beatles calendar, which turned out to be the last one in stock. Marcelina hated me for that. I told her to get one of the HP calendars or the MC Escher or Far Side or TheOnion, but she ended up leaving calendarless. ::gazes up at her lovely Beatles and listens to “Let it Be”. I also got a copy of “Thief of Time”. I love my life.
In other news, I was complaining to Mimi about all the CGs I had in my future, and she mentioned that her birthday was next week. I hissed at her, then grabbed my sketchbook and dedicated a random sketch to her. It turned out to be Dr. Whiteface, leader of the Fools Guild in “Men at Arms”. I was amused. She was slightly terrified. We then spent quite some time talking about how scary clowns could be. I’ve never been afraid of clowns — I just really disliked them — until last night. I had the most terrifying clown dream imaginable. ::jumps at small noises::
So that’s my story. Off to the drawing board!
