Priscilla says “Yo”. I just called the College Board hotline thingy and found that I got a 1480 on my SATs. 720 Verbal (97th percentile) and 760 Math (98th percentile). Good lord, I’m in a good mood. Now I actually stand a chance at all those luvverly colleges I spent Spring Break visiting… ::hearts Penn:: Yes, hearts go out to the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell. Hearts go out to my daddy, who is working through “Feet of Clay”, and my mom, who is reading “Men at Arms”. I’m dredging up the Harry Potter family tradition, and I’m reading “Guards! Guards!” aloud. Too much fun. “Grabthroat Shinkicker” gets me every time. Yes, I am five years old.

Continuing this dispensing of hearts, hearts also go out to:

  • my rockin sorta-aunt Phyllis (my dad’s cousin. anyone know the proper name for that?), who we got to hang out with last night

  • Monica, for providing me with a plethora of gorgeous art to feast my eyes on upon my return to the internet

  • Alicey, for updating HP Monthly, and also for providing me with nifty art

  • Faith, too. Art. Yum.

  • Jia Ling, for giving me this link (or preferably, this link).

  • Everyone else. I’m leaving to so see “Ice Age”. I’ll finish this entry and such later.
  • Good gracious, look at those last two entries. I sound like a grandmother. Too much (fill in the blank) in the world today. Am I waxing philosophical? Or have I just not gotten enough sleep?

Flush fat right out of your system! You can control hair loss! Toner cartridges! All roads lead to Hawaii! A lenten letter to the diocese of Jerusalem! Free XXX Passwords! Make Money in your spare time!

I have a love/hate relationship with junk mail. It’s so annoying, yet it amuses me all the same. Another thing that really amuses me is when people are offended by my Mary Sue Litmus Test. Or when they actually take the precise scoring seriously. Everyone takes stuff too seriously nowadays. Crazy, man.

Yay! God loves me. I have been blessed with 30 minutes (now about 17… drat my time management skills!) of internet time as we wait for our scheduled taxi thing to pick us up to go to the airport. I’m at Cornell right now, after a rather nifty day of admissions people drooling over my photography and CGs (Vimes and the Alicey dragon collab) and showing me the most eye-wateringly gorgeous example of high-tech in the universe. I can’t wait until I get to college — the digital field is even greater and more captivating than I could have ever imagined. I also got to spend some time in the college store as my mom bought a handspring palm pilot thingy, ogling various examples of computer software. The janitors will have to bring in a mop.

Anyway, it was just today (and last night) that I spent at Cornell. The previous two nights, I was in New York city. Go me! We saw the new “Forbidden Broadway”, which was beyond nifty. ::hearts FB:: A longer review will follow, because my mom is trying to yank me off the computer. Curses! Evidently, we need to be there 10 minutes early instead of about 3, as I originally hoped.

Let’s just say this: both Best Picture and Best Director to “A Beautiful Mind”? What were you thinking?!? ::pokes the Academy with a stick::

“Hooray, horray for the spinster’s sister’s daughter.”*

I’ve finished all that I can for Monica’s top-secret project. Mon, check your email. I need that last part as soon as possible, so that I have the opportunity to possibly finish during the school day. Gah, life is crazy.

*Random line from “Guards! Guards!”. Gotta love those secret societies.

Oh, hell. I just realized that I have to finish the Top Secret Project tonight. I’ll be off on college visits all next week, returning in the afternoon on the 31st. Think you can send me the last part early this afternoon, Monica? Yeep. Crud, and I still have to pack and study for an English unit test… Good thing that I got this P.E. period off…

Muaha, I love Kabalarians. I remember visiting one day in school when I was bored out of my mind, looking up all the names I could think of. To my shock and horror, it featured entries for “Angua”, “Carrot”, “Gytha”, and “Magrat”. “Nobby”, even. I knew something funny was going on when I found an entry for “Rincewind”. Still fun, though. Muah!

(note: this entry was a whole lot longer, but IE started acting froofy and crashed. I didn’t feel like trying to remember and retype everything I had written, so you guys are just going to have to cope)
