Adobe announces Photoshop 7

I’m sorry, was that me drooling lustfully all over my computer screen? Oops! Silly girl.

I wonder if they’ll have the upgrade version at the SMU bookstore… Employees that think Priscilla deserves a student discount are my friend. ::scrounges together money:: Or, I wonder if Hockaday will upgrade some of the computers to 7.0 so that I could preview it. Hm…. Must remain on Mr. Bradley’s good side.

::giggles madly:: Natalia posted more audio snippets. Hurrah! And what’s even better — T5E is read by Tony Robinson! Muaha. (For the fools unfamiliar with Tony Robinson — he played Baldrick on Blackadder) I’m amused. Hearing Carrot speak dwarfish makes me absolutely convulse.

I love it how I still get the occasional email for “Ms. Rosenthal”. It makes my day, in a twisted, ironic sort of way. Didn’t I stamp out that horrible alterego over a year ago?

Faith: It’s closer to ANG-yew-uh.

Which Drew are You?: E.T. Drew (“Gertie”)

I love ET! He’s my bestest friend! I even cried when he died in the movie, but then Mr. Spielberg told me he was just a big ol’ sock puppet! I’m innocent and child-like, unravaged by drugs and alcohol!

Homer: Kids, kids. I’m not going to die. That only happens to bad people.

Bart: What about Abraham Lincoln?

Homer: Uh, he sold poison milk to school children.

::giggles madly:: While procrastinating on my research paper (“Art Imitating Life in a Changing Nation: American Musical Theatre of the 1930’s and 1940’s”), I randomly went to Bucked Up, a highly amusing website dedicated to the Watch. The webmistress (or webmaster, as far as I know. Seems female, though.) came across audio versions of “Guards! Guards!” and “Men ar Arms” and posted a couple audio clips. The reader’s voice in “Men at Arms” brings back powerful memories of Douglas Adams reading the Hitchhiker “trilogy”. The voices and pronunciations are too amusing for words. And I was right about the pronunciation of “Angua”, so go me.
