- I remembered that the other movie we watched on the bus back was “Rock and Roll High School”. I feel all special, because now I get Rebecca’s “Teenage Lobotomy” weblog joke thing. Go me.
- Also on the bus back, a bunch of us played “I have never…”. To play this game, we hold up ten fingers and go around the circle, saying things we’ve never done. If people have done it, they have to put a finger down. Some people kept running out of fingers (tsk, tsk), so we let them refresh their hands and start again with 5. Eventually, in our first game, we decided that the game would end “when Priscilla lost”. I’m so Puritanical compared to them; I love it. Eventually, people got me out with questions like “I have never read a Discworld book” and “I’ve never had blonde hair” or “I’ve never had hair that went below my elbows”. Fun stuff.
- Stupid story: The first day of events (Day 2), I brought my camera with me. I was too busy to photograph during the day, but I hoped to get some good astral photography in, as the Albuquerque sky is a lot clearer than Dallas. Unfortunately, I realized halfway through the day that I had left my tripod in the hotel room. Goof. The next day, I made absolutely sure that I had my tripod. I felt all nifty and cool about it until I realized that I had left my camera in the hotel room. I am a moron. (Do you drink boron?)
So that’s my story.
