You still reading this, Sian? If so, would you mind telling me the new address for your blog? Thankees.
Grrr, blogback is down again. I think I’ll switch to dotcomments, after all. Hail self-hosted commenting systems!
Why, why, why do I get a cold in the few days before auditons? Hockaday is being idiotic and holding auditions for absolutely everything during the first week of school. Now I get to try out for “Red White and Swing” (the Winter musical) and “Dido and Aeneas” with no high notes and a garbled belt. Kill me now. Thank god I have another week (or possibly longer) to recover my voice for the auditions for Jesuit’s fall play. To be announced the first week in Sept.
Alas, woe is me.
I have chosen to blame this on… ::spins around blindfolded:: my sister and her friend RJ (who looks remarkably like Jimmy Bond). A few nights ago, they took me to a comedy club, where cigarette smoke hung in the air like a London pea-soup fog. It was barely tolerable when I was there (I spent about an hour in the shower afterwards, re-shampooing my hair and scrubbing my skin raw to get rid of the smell), and I woke up the next morning with the sniffles. I assumed it was just allergies. Now it’s getting worse. Grr.
Does anyone know how to get rid of that annoying space between the number and the “x” (formerly “comment”). It’s cramping my groove.
How do you like my new layout? Super-hearts to Blogger.com, whose layout I parroted. Additional hearts to Rebecca, whose LJ layout motivated me to go through with the idea. And because I can, hearts also go to Mon and Alicey, my guinea pigs.
To all that wish to follow through with legal action: this is a joke. I heart Blogger, and I do not mean to infringe on anything. And stuff.
For Renata. Hope you like it. I can change anything you’re not as fond of.
I am speechless. I bow in humble awe. Genius, pure genius.
Finally putting a name to the voices in Dido and Aeneas. I want to be Aeneas! ::snickets:: I haven’t gotten the chance to sing like that since my 8th grade Music Man quartet-bass days (and singing along with Ziddler in “Like A Virgin”). Of course, all the soprano parts (Dido, Belinda, the witches, etc) sound equally fun. I could go either way. Whatever part I get, I’m going to enjoy myself!
My second SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE of the week! My Sundowner just arrived! *dances merrily and drools over the lovely new art*
My parents were incredibly impressed. XD
I loff my Brenna!
