Mmm, quasi-freedom. No rehearsal tonight! I managed to churn out 7 pages of Film Noir last night for our peer review today, and I actually feel pretty good about it. M seems to have liked it, and she’s a writing goddess, so I guess that’s good. Rehearsals have been insane, and I’m very weirded out that tomorrow (er, rather, tonight) is opening night. Guh. I went to dinner with a bunch of my Trojan Women friends and we totally geeked out and had a blast.

Still waffling over whether or not I should go to the March For Women’s Lives on Sunday. I really want to go, but I’m afraid of missing the train back to Philly and not getting back in time for Sunday’s performance. Evil schedule demons.

Now, sleep. Hopefully I’ll be able to get on a more active blog post schedule. Apologies for incoherency, it’s been a trying week.

Great. A budding Smallville fan finds herself writing about the German Expressionist film Metropolis, directed by Fritz Lang. Haha. Just get this over with…

I think I’m going to spend the entirety of the Reading Period asleeep.

*giggles* Chungy, I think you need to see this. As mollyringwraith described it, “Apparently, C.S. Lewis warned Tolkien, back in the day, that Frodo and Sam might be interpreted as having a, er, “special” relationship. We all would love to have heard that conversation. Well, luckily hyel and co. decided to write it for us.”

Hahahhahaha.

So yeah, just got back from my 14 Hours O’ Trojan Women. Guh. I am past the point of exhaustion and out the other side.

Spread the word! Today has been declared Fandom Underdog Day!

Ah, where would we be without our fandom underdogs? *waves “Percy is Not Evil” banner, declares self “Pervy Filtrum Fancier”, and wow, I’m suddenly exhausted. I think I’ll take a nap. *falls unconscious, returning an hour later to post this, still bleary*

Meanwhile: ladies, is anyone still using espressoferrets.com? Because if not, I think we should get rid of it.

Wow, I’m tired. Today is such a beautiful day, but I have to be inside and in the library, looking up stuff for my film noir paper. And I can’t find anything in the library catalog, so I’m probably going to have to change my topic. Good thing I don’t have anything written yet. Urgh, why is this due Wednesday when I’m going to have to work on Trojan Women from 9AM to 11PM tomorrow?

I JUST SHOOK JOHN KERRY’S HAND!!!!! EEEEE!!! All the Penn Democrats got to be on the stage behind him, so look for me on CNN or C-SPAN or whatever! Squeeage and details to come later. Now, tis time to celebrate the birthday of my roommate of the future, Ko! Par-tay!

Whee! I was just thinking “Waaah, my paper is just over 6 pages, and it’s supposed to be 3-5!”, but then I just realized: Font Size! Oh, bless you, font gods!

Edit: Mkay, now compressed to 5 1/3 pages. I suppose that’s good enough.
