GAH RENATA IS FAR TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS!!!!!!!!! Clicksee! The second half of her post!

It kind of makes me want to get “What’s in a Name” published. Maybe I’ll look into that again. Eventually.

And as for Wicked, I would have gladly typed up the summary of the plot in the little booklet that came with the CD, except that there is no plot summary. Stupid. Read the book, I guess, or see the musical? It stars Idina Menzel, of RENT fame, and Kristin Chenoweth, of… um… the ABC version of The Music Man. And Joel Grey as the wizard! (Does that mean what in the revival in 30 years, it’ll be played by Alan Cumming?)

So yeah. Renata is cool!

Is it just me, or is Harry’s hair significantly more unruly in these images than it was in the first two movies? Little things, but ever so meaningful to the fans! Now if you could be so kind as to find Percy some glasses, we would be much obliged.

(But whatever happened to absolutelyhideous!Crookshanks? In the trailer… man, that cat was UGLY! Deliciously ugly! Here, he could be construed as cute by some! What’s up with that?)

Heehee, that reminds me. When I was doing the DMD Drexel Interview Thing, I brought with me my Sandman project images and my big Magsby!Remus VSP collab. Being thorough interviewers, the Drexel kids asked me who the people in the images were supposed to be. There just isn’t a way to say that you collaborate with friends to make calendars of Harry Potter fanart that doesn’t make one sound like a complete and utter dork. :D

Oh! And ladies! Is VSP2005 still on? Mags, are you going to have time this summer to work on anything? Mon, how long will you be working on that children’s book? Aliceboo, what about you? I know we promised that we’d get started earlier this year, so that we wouldn’t have a time crunch, but starting earlier requires actually starting earlier. XD

YESSSSSSSSS!!! Billy and Dom are partnered together again for the RotK:EE commentary! I was afraid that because Merry and Pippin split up early on in the course of the story, they would be split up for commentary purposes as well. But now, no worries! More joyous DomBilleh silliness! And an extra scene with Pippin and Faramir? W00t! EEE (or just EE? XD), November can’t come soon enough!

PS: MUSICALS? I think I just died and went to heaven.

YAY! I got my “Cornucopia of Love” shirt in the mail today, after ordering it some three weeks ago!

On a more serious note, a hate site has Googlebombed the word “Jew” so that an “I’m Feeling Lucky” search sends you to their website. If your blog or LJ is googleable, follow the instructions here to counter-Googlebomb the word “Jew” to a more satisfactory URL.

Whee! I’ma gonna be on tee-vee! Just a silly little interview thing of the Penn DMDers on Drexel-TV (a neighboring college), but still, w00t! And the Adams art building was totally shut down today because of a power outage (quoi?), so the deadline for art show submissions was changed to tomorrow, so I can show off my luvverly framed pictures! Yayfun!

It looks like the world is beginning to apologise to me for my rough day yesterday by feeding me things that prove the World Is Great.

Oy.

I’ve taken to rubbing Listerine into my scalp before taking a shower, as it’s reported to be a smashing dandruff cure for Those Who Have Tried Everything Else. Listerine, then shampoo, then conditioner. But tonight I forgot the Listerine until I had already massaged the shampoo halfway in, so I decided I would do shampoo, Listerine, conditioner. Bad idea. My hair now smells strongly of Listerine Citrus.

Hair should not smell strongly of Listerine Citrus. I have learned my lesson.
