There I was, surrounded by Bulgarians. Every so often, I would catch the familiar strains of “Back in the USSR” or “Bungalow Bill” as we hovered around the plastic card table, dealing out cards for a new game. A mix of traditional Mexican, Bulgarian, and Barbeque cooking and a trip to the theatre to see Ocean’s Eleven.

And so I spent my evening.

Rar. I’m seriously annoyed. Last night, we had a JETS party, and we rented Moulin Rouge. I was incredibly disappointed. It’s one of my favourite movies ever, but it loses a lot of its magical quality on its translation to the small screen. Depressing. Entertainment Weekly said that it was coming back to theatres this month, but I think it was misinformation, because I haven’t heard anything else about it. ::hisses::

Good gods! I knew that I had done well on the PSAT, but I could never have dreamed that I’d do *this* well! 74 in Verbal, 74 in Math, and 80 in Writing Skills! 99th percentile all across the board! ::screams her throat hoarse::

Now *this* is why I clean my room! I just unearthed printed versions of two of my earliest graphical manipulations. Early 1999. Sure, they’re awful, but they’re highly entertaining. Apologies for the lousy image quality. Fans of Star Wars and The X-Files should be amused.

I heard it was a lone gungan — parody of “Unusual Suspects”. X says “I heard it was a lone gunman” which gives the gunmen their name. I heard that there was a new race in “Phantom Menace” called the gungans, and this image was born.

Jedi — Anyone can tell you I love the gunmen. Here they are as jedi. This never fails to amuse me.
